Hello to all! Life has been wonderful here in Boise. We moved here from Orlando, FL almost 2 years ago leaving Oct 19 for a 10-day road trip arriving Oct. 28 to the fall colors! I so missed that when living in Chicago but not the bitter cold. We have a mild winter that first year and a cold, snowy one last year and expected to be cold and snowy again this year. It is so neat cause down in the Valley we are protected by the extreme cold and snow as compared to up in the mountains only 30-45 minutes away! Who thought I'd be on the west coast... growing up in the Midwest for 20+ years then Orlando for almost 20 years and now here on the west coast the past few years. There is so much to share and going back all I can saw is the peace of God that has led us to this point is amazing. Micron brought us there to Boise and in the midst of layoffs and loss of earnings we still are with Micron. The buzz is that Micron will survive as the other competitors are folding. It sounds like a game of cat and mouse LOL!.
We had thought about adopting and never pursued it until we moved to Boise and instead are licenses foster parents. The rewards of loving these children with the love of God we have for them is amazing. There are rough patches but we take one day at a time. We are in the midst of our most challenging situation but we know with our trust and faith in being in the right place at this time we will get through this with patience, love and trust.
